Full Legal Terms & Conditions
1. Services Provided & AppointmentsWe provide professional automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and precision wheel alignment services. All appointments and quotes requested through this website or our online platforms are subject to scheduling availability and final shop approval.
2. Payment Terms
- Due Date: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of work, unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
- Accepted Forms: We accept cash and major credit/debit cards. We do not accept checks.
- Processing Fees: A 5% processing fee applies to credit card transactions over $1,000. This fee does not apply when paying in cash.
- Payment Disputes: Unpaid invoices may be subject to legal collection processes.
3. Deposits & Part Sourcing
- Deposits: For large-scale jobs or special-order parts, a deposit may be required before any work begins.
- Classic & Rare Vehicles: For old, classic, or rare vehicles, the customer is responsible for locating and providing the required parts. The shop is not held liable for delays, sourcing difficulties, or structural issues related to customer-provided components.
4. Diagnostic, Suspension & Alignment Policies
- Towed Vehicles: Any vehicle towed to our facility is automatically subject to a mandatory $125 diagnostic fee immediately upon arrival.
- Pre-Alignment Inspection: A suspension check is strictly mandatory before a proper wheel alignment can be conducted. Customers agree to pay the standard inspection or diagnostic fees associated with these checks.
- Post-Repair Realignment: If any suspension or steering parts are replaced after an alignment has been performed, a completely new alignment will be required and charged again—with no exceptions.
- Alignment Machine Check: After replacing components, the vehicle must be placed on our alignment machine to check the geometry angles. If this initial check reveals the need for a minor frame alignment, additional charges may apply. This need cannot be determined until the physical machine check is completed.
5. Service Warranties
- Parts Warranty: 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Labor Warranty: 90 days from the date of service.
- Exclusions: Our warranty strictly does not cover issues caused by vehicle neglect, accidents, track/performance abuse, or subsequent work performed elsewhere after our service.
6. Vehicle Storage & Pickup Policy
- Pending Estimates (Approval Delay Fee): Once an estimate is provided to the customer, a decision must be made promptly. If a vehicle remains at the shop for more than 3 business days after an estimate is given without a clear authorization or formal decline being provided, a storage fee of $50 per day will be automatically assessed.
- Completed Work Pickup Timeline: Customers are responsible for arranging prompt vehicle pickup once notified that the work is ready. If you are out of town, arrangements must be made for an authorized representative to pick up the vehicle on your behalf. Payment in full is required before keys are released.
- Completed Work Storage Fees: Vehicles left more than 3 business days after completion of work may be moved outside the building, with keys kept securely inside until the balance is cleared. After this 3-day window, a campus storage fee of $25 per day will be charged until the vehicle is retrieved.
- Long-Term Storage: We do not allow or accommodate long-term vehicle storage at our facility.
- Shop Liability: Gary's Alignment is not held liable for vehicles stored on the premises, whether they are parked inside or outside our facility.
7. Insurance Claims & Fleet AccountsFor repairs involving insurance adjusters or commercial fleet management companies, we provide comprehensive documentation, exact part numbers, labor breakdowns, and alignment sheets. The vehicle owner remains ultimately responsible for any financial balances, deductibles, or supplement requests not covered or delayed by the insurer.
8. Website Use & Intellectual PropertyYou agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, such as researching services, viewing our gallery, or requesting repair quotes. Unapproved or fraudulent use of our online booking systems is strictly prohibited.
9. Governing Law & Customer Acknowledgment
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal disputes relating to these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dallas, Texas.
- Acknowledgment: By paying an invoice, authorizing a repair order, delivering a vehicle via tow, or using this website, the customer explicitly acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined above.
